Constitutional objectives
1. The organisation's purposes are: (a) To advance public knowledge, practice, and appreciation of vocal and instrumental music of the medieval, renaissance, and baroque periods (generally taken to mean pre-1750's music) throughout Scotland for the purpose of the advancement of the arts, heritage, and culture. (b) To provide opportunities to members and the general public throughout Scotland to engage in music-making together through community events and seminars, for the purposes of music education and skills development, recreation, and the well-being of participants. (c) To disseminate information relating to early music events throughout Scotland to members and the general public who have elected to receive our newsletter, for the purposes of the advancement of the arts, heritage, and culture. the promotion of recreational opportunities. and the well-being of community members.
