Constitutional objectives

4 The organisation’s purposes are to increase and maintain interest in all types of self-propelling steam engines, other than those running on rails. It will also support any moves to preserve historic vehicles, portable and stationary steam engines. To further this purpose the organisation may use such methods as may from time to time appear expedient, and in particular may: - (a) Promote the preservation and formation of collections of engines, parts, accessories, and accurate models thereof. (b) Organize events and/or activities which promote the purposes of the organisation and raises public awareness of the same. (c) Foster links with local, national, and international organisations, clubs, and groupings with purposes similar in nature to those of the organisation.
