Constitutional objectives

4 The Purposes are: 4.1 The advancement of religion, specifically the Christian faith, primarily in Kintore and Aberdeenshire, and also throughout Scotland and the rest of the world by all means consistent with the Christian Bible, the church's Statement of Faith as set out in Part 2 of the Appendix and the Baptist Union of Scotlands Declaration of Principle as set out in Part 1 of the Appendix. 4.2 The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. Without prejudice to the foregoing generality, the Church will pursue these purposes through worship, ministry, mission, witness, prayer, church planting, fellowship, networking, education, community service and the provision of activities and facilities for the community, and the relief of poverty and other social needs, including the support of individuals and other charitable organisations and agencies involved in any or all of these.
