Constitutional objectives
The fundamental purpose of the association since 1912 has been to provide growing spaces within a supportive community of like-minded residents of Inverclyde. Members are offered support to cultivate vegetables, fruit and flowers in a healthy outdoor environment. by: (a) Creating, developing and maintaining growing spaces. (b) Reducing isolation of members thus contributing to their physical and mental wellbeing. (c) Developing the capacity of members to share their skills and knowledge with others in the community. (d) Promoting & practicing biodiversity and ecologically sound growing methods. (e) Providing work /learning opportunities to other voluntary/charitable groups where possible.
