Constitutional objectives

The organisation’s purposes are the advancement of citizenship or community development. In furtherance of this we will: Promote civic and community responsibility by volunteering in the various projects taken on by the Group. These projects include - Keeping open those buildings in Kirriemuir, which are under threat of closure by Angus Council due to financial constraints, and which are of historic, architectural or civic importance and/or those which provide amenities and facilities for use by the public. Ensuring these buildings remain open for the benefit of the community and that these are accessible, where possible, to persons of all abilities. Providing, when possible, access to public park amenities where none exist. E.g. wheelchair accessible paths, bridges.
