Charitable purposes The advancement of religion. The advancement of education. The prevention or relief of poverty. In furtherance of these purposes the organisation will seek to provide the following, in areas including, but not restricted to, the United Kingdom, Nepal and Africa: Free access to live transmission of Buddhist teachings and events online. Free courses and events for Buddhist education and training. Increasing awareness of the core principles of Buddhism and their benefits amongst the general public. Development and maintenance of online resources for the study of Buddhism, such as websites, virtual libraries and so on. Financial support for individual Buddhist practitioners and organisations. Provision of short-term residential retreat opportunities, seminars and other such events for both Buddhists and those of any faith, or none. Establishment and maintenance of long-term Meditation Retreat facilities for Buddhist practitioners. Training of, and developing resources for, translators of Buddhist texts. Translation, publication and distribution of Buddhist texts. Development and/or maintenance of Buddhist temples, Dharma centres, monasteries, nunneries, and their affiliated communities. Development and/or maintenance of schools, colleges and other centres of learning. Development and/or maintenance of clinics, hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Free access to mainstream education in impoverished areas. Free access to healthcare in impoverished areas. Emergency and disaster relief in impoverished areas. Any activity that may be reasonably regarded as analogous to any of the above.
