In particular, the company's purposes are: The prevention or relief of poverty by providing food, clothing, clean water, shelter, medical aid and other essential supplies to people in need in the UK and worldwide. The advancement of health and the saving of lives by supporting access to healthcare, sanitation and medical relief for disadvantaged communities. The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. To do all such other things as are charitable according to the law of Scotland and are necessary or desirable to further the above purposes.
