Constitutional objectives
To advance the arts and culture through a range of projects, initiatives, activities and events centred primarily on Kelburn Castle Estate, which may include (without limiting the means by which that objective may be furthered) any or all of the following: (a) supporting artists and craft people in the creation of art and craft in all forms and at all stages - from experimentation and investigation to completion. (b) promoting site-specific work that responds to the rich historical land within the Estate. (c) bringing artists from all levels of experience to exhibit together. (d) commissioning artists to create permanent works of art, as well as offering a residency programme for artists to explore and experiment through mentorship. (e) creating and maintaining a permanent art trail for visitors to the Estate to discover through the course of the year (f) offering culture and arts to the local community and making art in all forms more accessible.
