Constitutional objectives

Advancement of environmental protection and improvement. Managing lands and waterways owned by the Organization with a priority to sustaining healthy ecosystems, restoring biodiversity, and reducing negative environmental impacts. Providing natural spaces for lasting community wellbeing, promoting responsible use of natural sites, and preserving areas for environmental conservation. Advancement of heritage and culture. Preserving and promoting historical and cultural heritage. Maintaining public access to historical and cultural sites. Engaging community interest and encouraging strong community ties, civic responsibility, and pride of place. (subject to clause 4.1) The provision of recreational facilities. Providing safe and affordable access on sites owned by the Organization to enable recreational activities that contribute to residents' wellbeing and quality of life. Promoting responsible land use, responsible water use, responsible boating, and pollution prevention. (subject to clause 4.1) Advancement of the educational aspects of our activities. Promoting community education and engagement with nature, the environment, history, culture, and recreational water safety. (subject to clause 4.1)
