The charitable purposes are the advancement of citizenship or community development with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended”, In furtherance thereof the Forum shall seek: a) to consult with and represent the needs and aspirations of the community and to lobby and work with private, statutory and voluntary bodies to take any action appropriate. b) to promote and development community action. c) to be a means whereby the community is able to voice opinions on local matters, which affect their lives and wellbeing. d) to raise and hold money and other resources (including lease of premises) necessary for fulfilment of the above, including grant funding. e) to promote well-being and quality of life throughout the community area.
