Constitutional objectives
The organisation will be known as the Hobkirk Development Trust (HDT) and its purposes are to provide and maintain Hobkirk playpark and other communal spaces as a community facility for the benefit of the inhabitants of Hobkirk and the environs in the Scottish Borders as defined by the Hobkirk Community Council area. Without distinction of political, religious or other opinions , for recreation, leisure and educational purposes of all kinds with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants. Whilst also promoting citizenship and community development in the area of benefit defined above.
