Constitutional objectives
4 The organisation’s purposes are to advance education and to advance community development. It will do this by: (a) bringing together and fostering understanding amongst gig workers and platform workers in Edinburgh and across Scotland about work and conditions, and of ways to improve these conditions. (b) fostering better public understanding of the conditions of gig workers and people using digital platforms to work, particularly for those experiencing poverty. (c) involving gig workers and platform workers in developing plans for identifying needs of the community of gig workers and platform workers. and delivering specific programmes and projects as part of the plans agreed by such workers.
