Constitutional objectives

4 The organisation's purposes are: i. the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, eg: • managing, maintaining and improving Woodmill Park in the village of Torrance for the benefit of the villagers and visitors, eg, maintain plant containers and walking paths. plant new trees. supply picnic benches. display wooden sculptures from local artists. undertake regular repairs & maintenance • enhancing the Fairy Trails within the park for the benefit of children, through adding new creative features and encouraging villagers to do likewise with their own designs • providing signs showing images and information on different species of local birds and trees • maintaining a bee & butterfly garden to provide a habitat for crucial pollinators, boosting local biodiversity and enhancing the health of plants • arranging regular work days to encourage volunteer participation in maintaining the park • providing a football pitch for recreation • collaborating with local stakeholders on developments to the park • arranging fundraising activities
