Constitutional objectives
a) To Advance Community Development and rural regeneration in the Stromeferry & Achmore area for public benefit, community resilience and sustainability. b) Arts, Heritage Culture & Science: To provide opportunities for members of the community and the wider public to participate in and experience a wide variety of art forms and encourage an appreciation of culture, science and history, particularly through taking ownership, management and maintenance of Stromeferry & Achmore Community Hall, as well as raising awareness and preservation of sites of historic, environmental or other importance to the community. c) Recreation: To improve the quality of life and contribute to the physical, mental and social health and wellbeing of residents and visitors through the provision of recreational facilities, through management and maintenance of Stromeferry & Achmore Community Hall. also through the organisation of recreational activities and other leisure time activities, and promoting responsible access. d) Education: To advance education, (particularly about environment, culture and heritage) training, lifelong learning and skills development through the creation of, and support for education and training infrastructure and activities. e) Conservation: To protect and improve the natural environment, habitats and biodiversity of the Stromeferry and Achmore area for the benefit of nature itself, the local community and the public at large.
