Constitutional objectives

4 The organisation is a non-profit distributing charity whose principal purposes are: a) The relief of those in need by reason of financial disadvantage by the provision of appropriate clothing and equipment for young people In furtherance of the above, Kit for Kids will: i) Form appropriate partnerships and working relationships with secondary schools, groups and individuals who share their interest in removing barriers to participation in sport and providing opportunity for disadvantaged or underprivileged children, young people or adults so enabling them to participate in activities and improve their life chances. ii) Work to provide appropriate clothing and footwear for young people whose economic circumstances represent a significant barrier to participation and by so doing enable young people from economically challenging backgrounds to participate alongside their peers and so realise their potential. iii) Consult with the local community and community of interest and other interested people and organisations to gather information to inform project development and iv) Do all such other things which further the objectives of the organisation and may be deemed to be charitable.
