The organisation’s purposes are: 1 The advancement of education. to promote, sustain and increase individual and collective knowledge and understanding of the climate and nature emergencies and to support the development and sharing of the knowledge and skills required to build resilient communities across East Lothian. 2 The advancement of environmental protection and improvement for the public benefit in East Lothian, in particular by: Raising awareness and understanding of environmental issues among people and organisations in communities across East Lothian, Encouraging and facilitating collaborative, community-led action to protect and improve the local environment and build local resilience. 3 The advancement of citizenship or community development, in particular supporting local, community and volunteer action to build just, thriving and resilient communities across East Lothian.
