Constitutional objectives
The SCIO’s purposes are: To advance the education of young people in the art and practice of playing the Scottish bagpipes and Highland drumming, including tuition, musical instruction, and ensemble performance. To advance the arts, heritage and culture of Scotland by promoting piping and drumming within the community, including participation in performances, competitions, and cultural events.
