Constitutional objectives

4.1 To advance environmental protection and sustainable improvement of the natural environment with particular regard to the conservation, preservation and protection of the areas of woodland within the Community, and to seek to prevent further erosion or diminution of the woodland areas due to development pressures. 4.2 To advance the maintenance, improvement or provision of environmental amenities for the Community and/or the preservation of buildings/ structures or sites of archaeological, architectural, historic or other importance to the Community. 4.3 to provide or assist in providing access to outdoor spaces for recreation and leisure activities for the Community and the wider public with the object of improving the wellbeing and conditions of life of the Community and wider public. 4.4 to advance the education of the Community and the wider public about its natural environment, culture, heritage and history. 4.5 to manage or to assist in managing areas of green space and in particular areas of woodland for the benefit of the Community and the wider public and to seek to promote and advance forestry management practices which have regard to wildlife, biodiversity and public access. 4.6 to advance community development within the Community. 4.7 the Company may with the consent of OSCR add to, remover or alter the foregoing statement of the Company's purposes contained in clauses 4.1 to 4.6 and on any occasion it does so it must give notice to the registrar of companies and such amendment will not be effective until that notice is duly registered.
