Constitutional objectives
To organise and promote the annual Scottish Borders Pride event, and associated community activities, for the benefit of the LGBTQI+ community and the wider public. To promote equality and diversity by raising awareness of the issues affecting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and other (LGBTQI+) people in the Scottish Borders. To advance education and understanding of LGBTQI+ identities, culture, and history, particularly in rural communities. To promote social inclusion by providing safe, supportive spaces and events where individuals can celebrate diversity and be free from discrimination. To advance citizenship and community development by encouraging participation, volunteering, and partnership working between individuals and organisations supporting equality.
