Constitutional objectives

The Organisations purposes are: a) To raise, manage and disburse funds in line with the values, principles and themes of Rotary International: i. For the prevention or relief of poverty. ii. for the relief of those that are socially isolated or those that are at imminent risk of being socially isolated. iii. for the advancement of education. iv. for the advancement of physical health. v. for the relief and assistance of those with and those assisting with mental health issues. vi. for the advancement of citizenship or community development. vii. for the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science. viii. for the advancement of public participation in sport. ix. for the advancement of human rights, conflict resolution or reconciliation. x. for the advancement of environmental protection or improvement. xi. for the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. xii. To assist healthcare provision on a local, national and international basis. xiii. to assist organisations and humanitarian aid agencies on a local, national or international basis to support disaster relief. b) To provide recreational facilities and to organise and deliver recreational activities and events, for the benefit of the local community with the object of improving conditions of life, enhancing wellbeing and engaging with the public.
