Constitutional objectives

The organisation’s purposes are: The relief of the needs of persons of Polish extraction and their families affected by cancer and disadvantaged in accessing health care in the north-east of Scotland, and in furtherance of this by. i). organising support meetings and self-help groups, ii). providing workshops and information sessions on prevention, treatment and psychological support, iii). cooperating with medical institutions and other organisations of a similar nature, iv). conducting educational activities in the field of mental health, v). promoting mutual assistance and social integration, among the Polish community in Aberdeen, including people with limited access to support due to language barriers, vi). publishing information materials concerning oncological issues, vii). providing special support to people affected by cancer and their families. viii). helping beneficiaries to understand the differences in healthcare provision between Scotland and Poland
