Constitutional objectives

The organisation’s purposes are: - To advance citizenship and community development by empowering and supporting immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers in Inverclyde through programmes that promote social inclusion, integration and participation in community life. To relieve those in need by reason of financial hardship, social disadvantage, homelessness, displacement, abuse or other vulnerability, including migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and other disadvantaged individuals and families, through the provision of practical support, advice and assistance. To advance education by providing learning opportunities, including ESOL support, digital skills training, informal education, and workshops that improve knowledge, skills and confidence for everyday life, further education and employment. To advance equality and diversity by promoting inclusion, reducing discrimination, and fostering understanding between people from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
