Constitutional objectives

The organisation’s main purpose is i) the advancement of education. It considers this as a pivotal point for world betterment: as identified by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal No 4/Quality Education. The organisation focuses on formal tertiary education in particular and is inclusive of all those involved in any capacity: teaching, learning, support and governance. Allied to this, the organisation’s specific focus is ii) the advancement of mental health and emotional wellbeing. This directly responds to ongoing academic research, national news events and conversations that repeatedly expose high levels of concern regarding the mental health and emotional wellbeing of students and professional staff within higher education. In addition, the organisation extends its services to the health and social care community who are involved in care and respite. This is because an overlap exists where service users can be involved in family care as well as in education. With particular focus on those involved in academia, and without limitation.
