Constitutional objectives

The organisation's purposes are to: a. advance citizenship or community development. b. advance arts, heritage and culture. c. relieve those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. d. provide recreational facilities, or to organise recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. and e. promote equality and diversity, primarily through engaging in the provision of programmes relating to dance and other performing arts to communities across the City of Edinburgh and environs from premises in South Gyle, in a manner which emphasises access and inclusion, and to carry out these activities at a low or no cost to enable participation by those individuals who are normally excluded from doing so.
