Constitutional objectives
The organisation’s purposes are charitable under the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and are: The advancement of citizenship, community development and social inclusion by facilitating integration for newcomers to Scotland and members of the local community who experience difficulties fitting in or participating fully in society, especially young people. The provision of recreational facilities and the organisation of recreational activities – including but not limited to boxing, gym sessions, football and other sports – with the object of improving physical fitness, mental health, social cohesion and the conditions of life for persons who are disadvantaged by reason of social isolation, cultural barriers, age, ill health, disability or financial hardship. 4.3 The advancement of education by providing training, workshops, and learning opportunities in human rights awareness, healthy living, and practical skills development for newcomers and members of the local community.
