Objects 2 The company's objects are: The company is established for charitable purposes only and, in particular, the following objects: (a) To preserve, protect, maintain and enhance Kilbirnie Auld Kirk, an A listed heritage building, including its fabric, grounds, and associated artefacts, for the benefit of the public in Scotland and beyond. (b) To advance education by: 73. providing learning opportunities relating to the history, architecture, archaeology, cultural significance, and heritage of Kilbirnie Auld Kirk and its surrounding community. 74. delivering educational programmes, exhibitions, tours, workshops and materials for schools, community groups, and the general public. 75. promoting research and public engagement in heritage conservation and local history. (c) To advance arts, culture, and heritage by encouraging the use of Kilbirnie Auld Kirk as a venue for cultural, artistic, musical, literary, and heritage related events that support public understanding and appreciation of Scotland's built heritage. (d) To advance community development by: 73. promoting community pride, cohesion, and identity through activities linked to the conservation and ongoing use of Kilbirnie Auld Kirk. 74. supporting volunteering and community participation in heritage, education, and cultural projects. (e) To provide recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for people living in Kilbirnie and surrounding areas, by making appropriate use of the Auld Kirk as a community asset. (f) To undertake any activities ancillary or incidental to the attainment of the above charitable purposes, provided such activities remain consistent with charitable status under the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005.
