Constitutional objectives

The organisations purposes are: (a) To prevent or relieve poverty and financial hardship among individuals and families in Inverclyde. Particularly during peak celebrations by providing clothing, toys, gifts, Easter eggs and essential household goods and other items to those in need. (b) To relieve the needs of persons who are experiencing hardship due to financial, loneliness, ill health, disability, or who have been affected by fire, flooding or other emergencies or disasters, by providing practical assistance, goods, services and emotional support. (c) To advance community development and promote community wellbeing across Inverclyde by organising events, social activities and initiatives which reduce isolation and improve community cohesion. (d) To provide advice, information and signposting to individuals and families in need, providing public benefit of additional sources of support and services available to them specifically within the Inverclyde and surrounding areas.
