The organisation’s purposes are: The advancement of community wellbeing and development, particularly for young people and families in and around Thurso, by providing safe, inclusive, and supportive spaces for education, creativity, cultural activity, social connection, and personal wellbeing. The advancement of arts, heritage, and culture by encouraging participation in music, art, storytelling, learning, and the sharing of skills and experiences across generations, including young people, families, and the wider community. The advancement of education by offering opportunities for informal learning, mentoring, after-school activities, and the development of practical and creative skills where mainstream provision may be limited, thus reducing social exclusion and isolation.
