Constitutional objectives
The Association's purposes are: a) to build a collaborative online community actively engaged in the exploration, recording and online presentation of Lamont history and heritage. b) to develop an evolving story of the people of the historic Clan Lamont and its worldwide descendants. c) to create and maintain an online resource bank of Lamont-related material. d) to assist members in their family tree research. to promote and support heritage studies in Cowal and other places of Lamont interest in Scotland. e) to promote social, cultural and educational events. f) to raise the profile of the places of Lamont interest in the former clan lands of Cowal.
