1 The organisation's purposes are the advancement of environmental protection and improvement a) To take ownership of the community woodland and associated habitats known as the Kilwhiss strip, for the Giffordtown and district community. b) To survey, maintain and enhance the biodiversity of the woodland and watercourses with minimal intervention. c) To maintain the woodland for wind protection and other environmental effects and offer benefits to the community in terms of well-being and amenity.
