The organisation's purposes are: To advance the performing arts in Stirling through the provision of a high quality theatre venue and community use spaces in Stirling city centre. For this purpose, Stirling refers to the area managed by Stirling Council. To advance heritage by the upkeep and maintenance of a listed building and retain its use within the community. This clause refers to The Cowane Centre, 69 Cowane Street, Stirling, FK8 1JP – a grade C listed building. The building is a former primary school, converted into a community centre and theatre and most recently used by Stirling Council as an office space.
