Constitutional objectives
The Purposes of the SCIO are: the advancement of the arts, heritage and culture by:- promoting and celebrating the impact and influence of Scotstrock, the artists, bands and all others who were and are a part of it and as a result raising the awareness of the public of Scotsrock and its contribution to Scottish culture. promoting the value of Scotsrock and its benefit to the public by establishing a venue as an exhibition and performance space and for such other activities and uses as the Charity Trustees may from time to time determine. inspiring and nurturing the next generation of great bands, solo singers, musicians, composers and producers, ensuring the legacy continues to thrive. inspiring and training the next cohort of live performance technicians, and behind the scenes personnel whose input and contribution is an essential part of the industry. inspiring photographers and artists who choose to root their talent in capturing live musical performance. and helping and supporting those who have the musical talent but do not have access to instruments nor facilities to develop their natural ability.
