The SCIO is established for the advancement of public benefit purposes as follows: a) The advancement of community development within Invergordon and surrounding areas. b) The prevention or relief of poverty, hardship and social disadvantage. c) The advancement of citizenship, community participation and social inclusion. d) The advancement of health, including mental health and wellbeing. e) The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life and quality of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. f) The advancement of education, training and skills development. g) The advancement of public participation in sport, recreation and community activity. h) The advancement of environmental protection, improvement and sustainability, and the improvement of public spaces and amenities. i) The advancement of equality and inclusion, including support for people with disabilities or additional support needs.
