Constitutional objectives

The charitable purposes of the organisation are: 3.1 Relief of poverty, hardship and disadvantage To relieve poverty, hardship, disadvantage and social need by providing practical support to mothers, parents, carers, babies, children, young people, young adults and families who are experiencing financial hardship, social disadvantage, crisis, isolation or difficulty accessing essential items. This may include the provision or distribution of food, clothing, baby supplies, nappies, wipes, hygiene products, household essentials, support packs, donated goods, higher-value baby-related items, signposting, referral support and other practical assistance. 3.2 Advancement of health and wellbeing To advance health, emotional wellbeing and mental wellbeing by providing or facilitating access to safe, appropriate and supportive wellbeing activities, listening support, emotional support, counselling, therapy, psychological support, group support, workshops, signposting and referral pathways. Any mental health and wellbeing support provided by the organisation must operate within the organisation's approved service scope and must not be presented as an emergency service, crisis service, NHS replacement service, medical service, diagnostic service or specialist clinical service unless the organisation is properly authorised, insured, staffed, qualified and equipped to provide that level of service. 3.3 Advancement of education, personal development and life skills To advance education, personal development, confidence, creativity, skills and positive learning opportunities for children, young people, young adults, parents, carers and families. This may include workshops, mentoring, training, family learning, parenting support, creative learning, youth development activities, music education, creative arts activities and other educational or developmental opportunities. 3.4 Relief of social isolation and promotion of community connection To reduce social isolation and promote social inclusion, community connection, peer support, confidence, participation and belonging among mothers, parents, carers, children, young people, young adults, families and people experiencing hardship or disadvantage. This may include community events, family activities, social events, parent and child activities, community distribution events, group sessions, family games, seasonal events, peer connection and activities that bring people together in a safe and supportive environment. 3.5 Youth Music and Creative Arts Programme To advance education, creativity, personal development, confidence, skills, wellbeing and positive opportunities for young people and young adults aged 13 to 25 by providing free access to music, recording, production, creative arts, mentoring, workshops, studio-based learning, performance opportunities and related creative activities. The Youth Music and Creative Arts Programme shall remain charitable, youth-focused, properly safeguarded, inclusive, free for eligible participants aged 13 to 25, and operated for public benefit. The programme must not be used as a private music business, private recording studio, private artist development service, personal promotion platform, commercial entertainment business or vehicle for unauthorised private benefit. 3.6 General charitable support To carry out any other lawful charitable activity that supports or is closely connected to the charitable purposes above and provides public benefit. The organisation may develop further projects or programmes in the future, provided that such activities remain within its charitable purposes and are approved by the charity trustees/members.
