Constitutional objectives
4 The organisation’s purposes are: a) the advancement of Christianity in Lanarkshire and beyond through the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, regular public worship, the teaching and pastoral care of believers, evangelism, discipleship and prayer, in accordance with the Statement of Faith (Schedule 1). b) the provision of Christian worship services and ordinances (including baptism and the Lord’s Supper), and the organisation of ministries and activities consistent with the Statement of Faith (Schedule 1). c) the advancement of religious education through Bible teaching, training and resources. d) the conducting of outreach work, within the Christian pastoral framework, to advance community wellbeing by relieving poverty, hardship, disadvantage, social isolation or other needs, and by providing practical, emotional, social or spiritual support through engaging in local community projects and/or projects abroad.
