Constitutional objectives

Commemorating the activities of Brigadier General Stanisław Sosabowski and the Polish Armed Forces in the West, particularly the 1st Independent Parachute Brigade and its participation in Operation Market Garden, as well as the soldiers of the Cichociemni (Silent Unseen), the 1st Commando, and General Maczek's soldiers. Conducting and supporting educational, historical, and cultural activities related to the fate of Polish Paratroopers and the Polish armed effort during World War II. Collecting, documenting, and sharing memorabilia, testimonies, and historical accounts related to the activities of Polish soldiers in exile, particularly in Great Britain and Scotland. Collaborating with similar institutions in Poland and abroad, including veterans' organizations, museums, schools, universities, local governments, and local communities. Organizing patriotic and anniversary events, exhibitions, lectures, and educational workshops, particularly for children and youth, with an emphasis on building intergenerational bonds. Promoting patriotic values, military honor, and national heritage in the spirit of remembrance of the sacrifice and dedication of Polish soldiers. Supporting activities aimed at integrating the Polish emigre community and building a positive image of Poland and Poles in the UK.Raising financial and material resources for the development and operation of the Memorial Room and the implementation of its statutory objectives.
