5. Purposes The organisation’s purposes are: 1. To relieve poverty and hardship by providing food, clothing, toiletries and other essential supplies to individuals in need, including those experiencing homelessness. 2. To advance community development and the promotion of volunteering by organising social events, gatherings and activities that promote positive community engagement among young people and young adults. Examples: Youth Group gatherings that involve an activity such as feasts and meals together, group game nights, a day at the beach, etc. focused on improving positive community social connection and environment. Emphasis on promotion of volunteering will also be expressed as volunteering will be a part of larger scale community events where extra help and service will be required. 3. To advance the Christian religion, including sharing the Gospel, distributing Christian literature, and organising worship and faith-based events. All services will be provided without requiring participation in religious activity.
