(d) to advance education and promote intercultural understanding by providing opportunities for people of all backgrounds, including children and young people, to learn about the histories, languages, traditions, and contributions of all communities in Aberdeen and Scotland -- including through school's outreach, public events, and media and creative storytelling -- fostering mutual respect and reducing prejudice. (e) to advance the health and wellbeing of new Scots and minority community members by supporting their mental and emotional health, social confidence, and sense of belonging, through creative, cultural, and community activities and, where appropriate, in partnership with health and wellbeing organisations.
