Purposes 4 The organisation’s purposes are: (a) To advance the arts, heritage, culture and creativity through the provision of accessible opportunities for participation in creative activity within Eskdalemuir and the surrounding rural area. (b) To advance community development in Eskdalemuir and the surrounding rural area by supporting participation in shared creative activity and strengthening community connection. (c) To advance education by providing accessible opportunities for learning, skills development and participation in the arts for adults and families, including children and young people. (d) To provide recreational and creative activities with the object of improving wellbeing and quality of life, particularly through reducing rural isolation and supporting social inclusion.
