(c) the advancement of public participation in community life and the promotion of community cohesion and wellbeing through safe and accessible events and activities. and (d) to support charitable organisations and charitable community projects operating within, or benefiting people in, the Scottish Borders, including by raising funds and awareness and making grants or donations where doing so furthers the charitable purposes of the SCIO.
