Constitutional objectives

Purposes 4 The organisation's purposes are: (a) to advance environmental protection and improvement, principally in Milton of Campsie, East Dunbartonshire and the surrounding communities, by creating, maintaining and developing a community bee garden, apiary and associated habitats which protect and support bees, other pollinators, biodiversity and the natural environment. (b) to advance education by providing learning opportunities, demonstrations, training, activities and resources relating to bees, beekeeping, pollinators, biodiversity, horticulture, food production, climate action and environmental stewardship. (c) to provide recreational facilities and organise recreational activities, principally through inclusive outdoor, nature-based, social and educational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life of the public and, in particular, people experiencing loneliness, social isolation, ill health, disability or other disadvantage.
