DXC conducts an annual Responsible Supply Chain Survey of its suppliers. The Survey helps us measure the percentage of our supplier base that may be considered high risk.

Demonstrated progress

The statement identifies several improvements from last year and future actions to be taken by DXC to enhance our efforts concerning modern slavery. While we have many proactive programs to identify and reduce the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking, as a responsible business we are motivated to do more. We continue monitoring our effectiveness by including the following key performance indicators concerning modern slavery issues.

• Mitigation: DXC’s activities are largely considered low risk for modern slavery and labor violations. Electronics are a known high-risk commodity for modern slavery. We do not manufacture any technology hardware. Our core activities are performed by a highly skilled and specialized workforce. This applies also to the types of activities that we procure, such as software development. We procure electronic equipment from companies with robust modern slavery programs, including Dell, IBM, HPI and Lenovo.

• Mitigation: DXC hires highly skilled specialists through rigorous employment practices. DXC's last internal audit was conducted in May 2023. Employees’ home addresses were screened for shared addresses. This exercise identified nine cases where more than two people shared an address. Each instance was researched further. No instances of modern slavery were found. This has supported our conclusion that DXC has an environment of extremely low modern slavery risk.

• Mitigation: Services procured by DXC require highly-skilled specialists who are not typically at risk for modern slavery. Our suppliers are required to adhere to Responsible Supply Chain Principles. We expect suppliers to introduce suitable processes and controls within their organizations. These should be designed to support compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and drive continuous improvements related to the requirements laid out in these Principles.
