14 days for contractors, medical consultants, and self-employed individuals; 30 days for all other invoices; 45 or 60 days on specific contracts; Or as otherwise agreed with the supplier. We aim to pay at the latest 60 days after invoice receipt if there are issues that delay payment.
- Dispute resolution process
Please refer first to the Terms and Conditions of Supply on our Purchase Orders and ensure that your invoice matches the requirements of the purchase order, and is addressed to the correct entity within the HSL group. If you are happy you have complied with these requirements, disputes and complaints should be first escalated to the Accounts Payable team at ap@tdlpathology.com The next steps would be to contact the AP Manager, the Shared Services Manager, the Director of Finance and then the CFO through our main switchboard number as shown on the website for Health Services Laboratories. We seek to resolve disputes amicably and speedily, and we are happy to refer the case to a dispute resolution service if necessary, in line with the terms on our POs.

Other monitoring
For higher- risk suppliers, we conduct deeper reviews, which may include onsite visits. In FY2025, we focused on Tier 2 suppliers in China, assessed in person - and cleaning service providers.
Demonstrated progress
In FY2025, we actively worked with suppliers, industry peers, shareholder groups, key staff and other stakeholders to identify potential risks of modern slavery in our operations and supply chains, using our modern slavery risk management framework. We also performed additional due diligence across a number of higher-risk suppliers. While we did not identify any instances of modern slavery, we did find opportunities for improvement and will encourage suppliers to better mitigate these risks.
Reported risks and mitigations
- Risk: Medical Supplies: There is a noted higher risk of adverse human rights impacts, particularly labour violations, in the manufacturing (Tier 2 and beyond suppliers) of disposable gloves.
- Area: Within your supply chains
- Tier: Tier 2 suppliers
- Group: Migrants
- Location: China
- Mitigation: In FY2025, we worked closely with a long-term Tier 1 supplier of high-volume packaging products that are mainly sourced from China, where there is potentially a higher risk of modern slavery. Our Tier 1 supplier visited five Tier 2 supplier sites there and, in collaboration with Sonic, used our modern slavery site assessment work program as the basis for their onsite reviews. The Tier 1 supplier provided Sonic with scores and evidence of each supplier’s operational procedures and controls.
- Risk: Couriers and Freight: Freight and transport services, including shipping, distribution and storage. Groups include seafarers, drivers, port and other workers.
- Tier: Tier 1 suppliers Tier 2 suppliers
- Location: United Kingdom
- Mitigation: Sonic has strengthened the monitoring and assessment of employment practices and operations to manage the risk of human rights violations and instances of modern slavery. In this reporting period, we have established a global Human Resources (HR) forum which complements our existing Australian HR leaders’ group, and includes regular discussions on employment practices and human rights. We also conducted a global Modern Slavery audit survey in FY2025 through the country HR leads.
- Risk: Facilities Management: Possible exploitation of migrant workers subcontracted through labour hire companies. Sonic relies on external suppliers for cleaning services for its facilities.
- Group: Women Migrants
- Mitigation: Ongoing refinement of our online human rights and modern slavery training module to ensure it is fit for purpose and accessible to employees, allowing us to continually build awareness amongst our employees. Continuing to use the Human Rights/ Modern Slavery Supplier Questionnaire as a foundational activity to gather information on our suppliers’ operational and supply chain processes Continuing to use findings from our internal audits, to further enhance our operational processes.

PSC records are company-filed public-register information. When the exact same displayed individual name occurs at multiple companies, BritDB offers a non-indexed cross-reference page. It is a name match only, not proof that the records describe the same person. Service addresses and partial dates of birth are deliberately omitted.
08 Charity register
Charity Commission links
No exact company-number link in this snapshot
The Charity Commission extract did not explicitly associate this Companies House number with a charity. BritDB does not use a name-only match to fill the gap.
This company-level check covers the Charity Commission for England and Wales. Links are accepted only when the official extract supplies this exact company registration number. Scottish charities now have separate OSCR profiles, but OSCR’s bulk fields do not provide a Companies House number, so BritDB does not infer a company link.
09 Northern Ireland charity register
CCNI exact company links
No unambiguous company-number link found
The CCNI source number did not resolve uniquely to this Companies House record. BritDB did not use a name or address match.
CCNI publishes company numbers without a jurisdiction prefix. BritDB links only when the plausible padded UK and NI candidates resolve to exactly one Companies House company.
10 Sanctions screening
UK Sanctions List
No exact business-registration-number link found
The imported UK Sanctions List did not supply this Companies House number as a UK-linked business identifier. BritDB did not attempt a name-only match.
No exact link is not sanctions clearance. UK restrictions can apply through ownership or control even where an entity is not separately named. Always use the current official list and obtain appropriate advice for a legally significant decision.
