Our board remains focused on adhering to the Modern Slavery Act. We monitor the effectiveness of our training and vetting processes, making changes where necessary. We demonstrate best practice as a responsible employer. We undertake an annual risk assessment to ensure a full review of the company's risks are assessed and that policies and procedures remain effective. We are vigilant when working on sites with other contractors where our management are not in sole control of a contract.

• Mitigation: We vet and approve all business critical suppliers ensuring that Modern Slavery Act is followed by all supply chain partners. We carry out social responsibility audits on our supply chain to ensure they remain compliant with legislation and our policies. Products are mainly manufactured in the UK, it is the source of the materials where the risk comes from - our suppliers must demonstrate robust procedures on eliminating risks of modern slavery in their supply chain.

• Mitigation: We directly employ all of our employees and do not use temporary workers. We ensure that our supply chain and subcontractors are vetted and monitored before they work for us. We request proof of policies to combat modern slavery and right to work in the UK must be evidenced. Where no policies are in place, the supplier must sign to Bagnalls policies. We complete site audits to spot signs of modern slavery. We conduct social audits of suppliers/subcontractors to reduce the risk of modern slavery.

• Mitigation: Our policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure legal compliance. All colleagues are directly employed by Bagnalls. We conduct right to work in the UK checks for all new employees. We conduct regular training for all staff regarding spotting the signs of modern slavery and how to report concerns, including via our confidential whistleblowing policy. Our HR and requirement teams are trained in how to undertake proper checks of new employees.
