Equip reports on four key performance indicators in our Modern Slavery Statement related to purchasing practices and monitoring procedures. We believe the KPIs we have set measure how effectively we facilitate the conditions needed for our suppliers to provide good working conditions. Equip outlines steps, actions and targets we plan to take in the following year to improve our processes, reach, and reduce the risks in our supply chain. • Mitigation: Since 2020, Equip has been a member of Fair Wear Foundation, an organisation working to improve labour conditions and support fair treatment for the people who make our products. Our Responsible Business Conduct Policy sets out expectations and commitments for our whole supply chain, our Human Rights Due Diligence Policy integrates these principles into our processes. Both are aligned with OECD guidance. Equips Social Report explains the steps we took to identify & address risks and violations.
• Risk: Factory-sourced trim/fabric suppliers (for the small amount Equip does not nominate or directly buy) therefore a reduced transparency. Particularly injected-moulded plastic, leather, metal components.
• Tier: Tier 2 suppliers Tier 3 suppliers and below
• Location: China Indonesia India Cambodia
• Mitigation: Equip previously did a risk assessment of trim suppliers & subcontractors, identifying those with risks requiring additional monitoring. Suppliers are asked to provide evidence of country origin for cotton, & requested to complete questions relating to involvement in labour transfer programmes in China. We have updated Manuals to include zero tolerances for forced labour. In 2026,we will reissue aT2-4 risk assessment focused on forced labour, building on previous assessments using Higg FSLM data
• Risk: Workers employed by our UK-based service suppliers operating on our sites, including contractors, cleaning and security services.

• Mitigation: In 2024/25, Equip created an Internal Purchasing Policy. This policy sets out guidelines to ensure that our internal procurement decisions prioritise ethical employment practices. This year , we identified our key service providers and the operations carried out, to then identify high-risk service suppliers identified in our risk assessment – cleaning, contracted labour providers, and security. Equip plans to update and review documentation for providers in 2026.
