Day Opportunities for Older People and Adults with Physical Disabilities

Tenders were invited by the Council from Providers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the provision of Day Opportunities for Older People and Adults with Physical Disability (the "Services"). The Day Opportunities Service will be available Monday to Friday offering meaningful appropriate activity, both on and off site, and based in local, safe and comfortable venues. Transport to and from the venues will be made available to eligible people from across the whole of the geographical area in which the bidder is successful i.e. North or South Kirklees. A nutritious midday meal and refreshments will also be made available for all Service Users. The anticipated commencement date for the Contract(s) is 1st April 2023. The anticipated expiry date for the Contract(s) is 31st March 2026, with the option to extend for a further period or successive periods up to 31st March 2028.
