Description
National Health Application and Infrastructure Service (NHAIS) is a system that has been developed by the NHS for the sole use of the NHS to help manage primary care patient registrations, practitioner payments, population screening and other services. NHAIS comprises the following modules that are used in N.I., primarily by Family Practitioner Services in the BSO: • Registration of GP patients, including electronic registration links to GP systems; • Breast Screening call/recall, including data transfer to the NBSS system in Belfast Trust; • Cervical Screening call/recall, including data transfer to the Belfast Trust Laboratories and storage of screening history.
