Description

Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust has an urgent need to outsource high volume low complexity (HVLC) Ear Nose and Throat activity (adult patients only) to the private sector. Competition is absent due to technical reasons around availability of capacity for additional ENT work regionally, evidenced by little or no availability on the national DMAS mutual aid system, and an urgent contract commencement date of 1 August 2023. Insourcing of this service to use NGH staff and NGH theatres is not an option due to theatres being in use 7 days a week.
