University of East Anglia Contractor Framework

Description

The University of East Anglia (UEA) has appointed Principal Contractors to carry out construction and refurbishment works over the duration of the Framework. The Framework consists of three lots based on the value of the proposed works contracts: Lot 1 - Mid Works >£1m to ≤£5m Lot 2 - Minor Works £0k to ≤£1m Lot 3 - Mechanical and Electrical Works £0k to ≤£900k The UEA has established the framework so that it has a pool of contractors from whom it can call-off directly or seek tenders (via mini-competitions) for specific projects as they arise. This will not necessarily guarantee a contractor work during the 3-year life-time (note there is an option for the University to extend the Framework by up to 2 years but this is at the sole discretion of UEA) of the Framework; neither will UEA be restricted exclusively to using Contractors from the Framework.
