The funding received from the DFG is to pay for essential adaptation to a person's current home to enable them to continue to live an independent life. The property could be owned or managed by The Authority or privately owned. The Authority is seeking to appoint a range of Contractors able to provide adaptation works consisting of, but not limited to the following including all associated works;* Bathroom adaptations i.e. level access showers, wet rooms * Kitchen adaptations i.e. height adjustable worktops, remodelling * Safety Works including fencing, locks, restrictors * Access ramps and steps * widening of internal doorways * extensions and building works * other sundry works which may be required. This framework is to establish a list of Contractors able to deliver those adaptations.
